Is there a "preferred" method to removing and re-installing the extractor on a Swedish Jarmann bolt?
I am pretty sure I could remove it but with all the spring pressure getting it back together might be a large problem. :-(

It has been a while since I completely disassembled a Jarmann bolt and I don't have it in front of me, but as far as I remember you just have to twist the extractor to the side to remove it (after you have removed the read part). No hassle :-)

I didn't go that far with the bolt disassembly on mine, it is clean and works fine so I thought it best not to tempt fate.
Give me iron, steel and wood!  Tupperware guns are for losers!

Thanks for the tip Øyvind.

Well I still can't get it out. Maybe I am too afraid of breaking it.
I will let my courage build up and perhaps try it again in a few days. Or perhaps I might clean under it and leave it like Fabian ;-)
