Possible Kammerlader bullet found

Please help identify this bullet if anyone knows what weapon it may have been fired from.  It measures .69 cal. in diameter (17.5mm) and is about 1 inch long (25-26mm).  The bullet was found while metal detecting in a town site in South Mississippi, USA that dates around 1810-1880's.  Thanks for any help you might provide. The base is flat.  

There is visible flashing at the base, from whn it was cast.

It is not from the Norwegian kammerlader. The kammerlader bullet looks like this:



I have seen that bullet somewhere before, but I cannot remember exactly right now.

Thanks for the help.  Please let me know if you find anything about this bullet..  By the way, I just got back from Tromso 2 weeks ago.

It rather reminds me of bullets for the French carabine a tige or pillar breech rifle, numbers of which were bought by Marcellus Hartley in Europe for importation to the North during the American Civil War.
