Hi all Ive been shooting blackpowder cartridges for over 10 years and I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a quicker way of cleaning their brass,
as I drop them in soap and water at the range. Then clean them when I get home
I normally shoot about a 100 to 200 45-75 WCF in a Win.76 reproduction rifle and about the same in 45 Long Colt I also shoot a .577/.450 Martini-Henry rifle made by Greener and use it about 6 to 8 times a year and shoot about 15 to 30 rounds.

Best regards

I use a ultrasonic cleaner with soap water, after soap water i use clean water. and then i use citric acid and water if they are really dirty.
after the CA mix i rinse them off i hot tap water
i suggest that u decapp them first for cleaning of the primer pocket.

There is an article here that explains the process.
