Please add more pics or tell on which part the stamp is located and what nationality you guess the weapon might be. Makes the haystack a wee bit smaller. ;-)

The marks are on the inside of the trigger assembly. From a 1855 dated Landmark conversion.

The mark is a typical labourer mark from the Kongsberg Armory. Each worker had to buy the materials they were given, and when they were finished they got paid both for the work and for the materials. If the part they made wasn't approved they had to pay the cost of the material. The mark is the initials of the worker that has made the trigger assembly. The markings was a method of tracing the parts made by the workers back to the particular worker that made them.

I don't know for sure who this S.K.B was though.
