Just got back into black powder after a 20 year break. Fortunately I came across this forum early on. Thanks to the information obtained here I have been able to make some quality paper cartridges for .44 Pietta 1858 Remington and the .44 Ruger Old Army. I have numerous Ruger firearms and am glad to see the ROA matches the quality I was used to in their other weapons.
In my quest for the perfect paper, I have found artist tracing paper works very well.
