Red Crow

I finally got round to taking some photographs of my Belgian-made Swedish navy carbine. Enjoy!

A nice one :-) Have you fired it?

Red Crow

Hi Oyvind,

Yes, I shoot it regularly. One of the reasons I bought this rifle is that the barrel is absolutely perfect, much better quality than the barrel of the Italian-made replica two-band Enfield that I used to own. It's only disadvantage is that the sights have a minimum distance of at least 100 metres, which means that when I am shooting at a target 25 or 50 metres away I have to aim for an imaginary point some 20 to 30 centimetres below the bulls-eye. Apart from that the rifle is perfect.

That is a beautiful rifle, Red Crow!
Thanks for sharing, crystal clear pictures and nice details.
I would recommend that you make a replica rear sight that fits the distance you shoot at. With two short leaves, one for 50m and one for 100m for instance.
