This is an interesting thread from another BP shooter's board, and which might be of interest to members here.

They stood, and earth's foundations stay;

I'm a member there too, an interesting discussion, and quite scary.

One more reason to stick to my original India pattern Bess :-D
Give me iron, steel and wood!  Tupperware guns are for losers!

Hi Fabian,

I thought you were a member there as well.  Yes it is quite a scary thing.

I envy you having an original. My short land pattern only goes back to the early 1970s, but at least after hundreds of rounds of live fired through it, I can be reasonably confident of its integrity.  Still, the incident is alarming and makes one question buying something without seeing it first.
